Report from FAN’s participation at Bonn Climate Change Talks, June 2009

Freshwater Action Network was asked to nominate a representative to speak about the perspective of Southern civil society on Water and Climate Change Adaptation during the 13th session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-Term Cooperative Action (AWG LCA) at the Climate Change Talks in Bonn held from 1-12 June 2009. The Global Public Policy Network on Water Management (GPPN) who were organizing the workshop and side event were particularly interested in the perspective from South Asia so FAN approached FANSA to nominate a representative to attend. FANSA nominated Ramisetty Murali, FANSA Convenor. Unfortunately, at the last minute, he had to cancel so I gave a presentation on their behalf.
